Rule Title: MOTION SUBSTANTIALLY CONTRADICTORY TO PRIOR MOTION.
Rule Text: The Board of Education shall not entertain a motion made by a Board Member which calls for substantially contradictory action to action requested in another prior motion which was made by a Member and which passed on a roll call vote of the Board at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board within the prior six months. Any Member of the Board, however, may offer a non-debatable motion to waive the provisions of Board Rule 74 with respect to any motion coming within the provisions of this Rule, and if said non-debatable motion is properly seconded and receives four affirmative votes, the provisions of this Rule shall be waived. Any Member wishing to waive the provisions of Board Rule 74 shall notice a motion requesting such waiver in compliance with Board Rule 72, and if such motion for waiver passes, the Member may present the substantive motion in question at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board subsequent to the meeting at which such waiver was granted.
