Rule Title: LEGAL ACTIONS

Rule Text: The Superintendent of Schools shall establish the procedures to be followed with respect to legal actions which name as a party the Board of Education, the Los Angeles Unified School District, or any employee thereof for any act performed in the course of employment. Ratification by the Board of the disposition of such actions shall constitute authorization for the incurring of any and all obligations to pay necessary fees and expenses in connection with any such litigation. The payment of such fees and expenses shall be authorized by the Board after the exact amounts are ascertained. (Amended 4-16-90)
