Rule Title: IRREGULAR SCHEDULE--STUDENT HOURS AND LOCAL SCHOOL DAY
Rule Text: Whenever, in his or her opinion, conditions affecting classrooms, transportation, cafeterias, playgrounds, or the needs of the educational program warrant, the Superintendent of Schools shall have the authority to: A. Vary, by not more than one hour, the hours of students specified in Board Rule 1104, and B. Decrease the number of minutes in the regular school day specified in Board Rule constituting a minimum school day as defined in Board Rule 1105. Each school may have a maximum of 20 shortened days or a maximum of 10 minimum days or a combination of shortened days and minimum days approved by the local district superintendent.
