Rule Title: CLAIMS FOR MONEY OR DAMAGES
Rule Text: As a prerequisite to bringing suit against the Los Angeles Unified School District, any claims against the District for money or damages as set forth below, or for money or damages which are not governed by any other statutes or regulations expressly relating thereto, shall be presented and acted upon in accordance with Title 1, Division 3.6, Part 3, Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 900) and Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 910), of the Government Code of California: A. Claims by the State or by a state department or agency or by another public entity. B. Claims for fees, salaries or wages, mileage or other expenses and allowances. C. Applications and claims for money or benefits under the Los Angeles Unified School District Retirement System, or any other retirement system not governed by any other statutes or regulations expressly relating to the presentation of such applications or claims.
